The awakening was anything but peaceful. The girl woke up screaming, a chilling sound that echoed through the sterile lab. A mysterious liquid flowed painfully through her veins, bringing her body back to life with a surge of raw, untamed energy. It felt as if her cells were on fire, as if her very essence was being rewritten and reshaped. As the girl's screams subsided, Lilith approached her, her eyes wide with awe and trepidation. The girl's once brown eyes had transformed into a dark, emerald green, the pupils strikingly sharp. But the most startling change was the intricate pattern of peacock feathers that now adorned her lower arms and back. Upon the girl's awakening, Lilith was instantly plunged into an immersive hallucination, a direct consequence of the girl’s newly awakened ability: phantasmagoria. In this illusion, she saw Tsukina, the girl she had worked so tirelessly to save, rise from the operating table and frolic around the lab with an innocent giggle. The hallucination then morphed into a more alarming scene, with Tsukina standing directly in front of Lilith, her transformed arms extended as she dug her newly formed claws into Lilith's arm, causing it to bleed profusely. In a moment of panicked confusion, Lilith looked down for the blood she felt seeping from her arm, but there was nothing there. Her arm was unharmed, devoid of the cuts she had just experienced, and Tsukina, awake but silent on the operating table. Left bewildered by this vivid encounter, Lilith could only attribute this uncanny experience to her lack of sleep and the mental strain of her relentless work. She convinced herself that her mind was playing tricks on her, a much more comforting explanation than the alternative.

Months later, as Tsukina relearned how to walk and talk, her curiosity led her to explore the lab while Lilith worked. She soon realized the facility was much larger than she had expected, almost like a secret compound. Wandering into a hall lined with cells, she encountered various peculiar experiments. One cell held a blob-like creature, while another contained a terrifying sight for a ten-year-old: a tall figure surrounded by a mysterious black mist, soulless eyes and large, skinny, sharp hands. It looked as if it was suffering. In Tsukina's innocent mind, she thought perhaps she could befriend it. Standing before the cell, she started having a one-sided conversation with the creature. She talked about her day, her thoughts, and her feelings, hoping it might understand and respond kindly. The creature, initially still, eventually looked at the girl and extended its arm toward her. Encouraged by what she thought was a friendly gesture, Tsukina approached the glass to get a closer look. Suddenly, the creature lunged at her aggressively, shattering the cell window and triggering the alarm. Tsukina screamed and tried to back away, but the creature managed to grab her, immobilizing her with its grip. Without warning, that a thick black mist from the creature attached itself to her, slipped into her mouth, making its way into her body. She felt as if she was suffocating, her breath shallow and her vision blurring as the darkness consumed her. Upon hearing the alarm and Tsukina's scream, Lilith sprinted to the containment room, seeing the glass broken but the girl nowhere in sight. "TSUKINA!!" Lilith searched frantically for the little girl. The lights flashed on and off, and then she saw Tsukina sitting on the floor. Was that another illusion? Lilith thought to herself.

"Hey, what on earth happened? Where were you hiding?" A wave of worry washed over Lilith as she spoke, her voice echoing in the cold, sterile lab. The girl's eyes were vacant, devoid of any sparkle or catch light. They were lifeless, a stark contrast to the lively child she used to be. "Tsukina, please, say something!" Lilith pleaded, her heart pounding in her chest. The girl looked up at Lilith, her gaze as cold as ice. As Lilith locked eyes with her, a chilling realization dawned upon her. Her eyes widened in horror as she noticed that her experimental subject, the creature that was once confined within the glass cell, was missing. But it was too late to rectify anything. Before she could react, a thick, swirling mist of black started to envelop her body. It danced around her, creating an eerie spectacle under the flickering lab lights. The mist felt alive, as if it had a mind of its own. It felt like it was tugging at her, trying to pull her into its dark abyss. Yet at the same time, it was hugging her tightly, as if trying to comfort her amidst the chaos. Lilith struggled against the mist, her heart pounding in her chest as she tried to free herself from its tightening grip. The cold tendrils of the mist seemed to tighten around her, making it increasingly difficult for her to breathe. The mist then began to forcefully turn her head to the right. However, it didn't stop there. It continued to twist and torque, causing her immense pain. "T-Tsu-" She tried to call out but found it difficult to speak. "St-Stop T-This," she managed to stutter out between gasps. All the while, she found herself locked in Tsukina's cold, soul-piercing gaze. The relentless twisting and torquing continued unabated, the black mist showing no signs of stopping. The mounting pressure was unyielding, a cruel dance of torment that seemed to go on for an eternity. And as the pain reached its crescendo, she could hold on no longer. Eventually, under the unbearable strain, she broke.

Her body, now devoid of life, crumpled to the cold, hard floor. At the same moment, the harsh laboratory lights flickered off aggressively, plunging the room into a stark, unforgiving darkness. After a while, the lights flickered back on. Tsukina's eyes were back to their normal, vibrant green, and Lilith stood frozen, intense fear etched into her eyes. She muttered, "Did I just die? What kind of ability…where's my experiment..." Lilith's head flooded with questions about what had just happened. She felt disoriented, her thoughts swirling in confusion and panic. The memory of the experiment flashed before her eyes, and she realized the gravity of the situation. If that thing got loose, it could be catastrophic. Her pulse quickened as the realization set in. She knew she had to act quickly to find her missing experiment which was labeled as very violent and also intelligent knowing it has the ability to release and open the other cells by simply breaking the glass. The lab was a maze of dark corridors and sterile rooms, but she had to find a way to contain the threat. Fire was the only option she could think of to eliminate the possible dangers once and for all before it could start.she dialed Tsukina's mother, her hands shaking as she relayed the news of Tsukina's final stay at the laboratory. Each word felt heavy, burdened with the weight of what had happened, what she had done, and what she had failed to do. The mother's voice on the other end was a mix of relief and worry, her gratitude for Tsukina's return tempered by the unspoken questions.

After the girl had left from under her care, Lilith steeled herself for what she had to do. She grabbed a nearby torch, the flickering flame casting eerie shadows on the walls. Her mind raced as she navigated through the lab, her heart pounding with urgency. Each step brought her closer to the containment area where the other experiments were held. She knew the layout of the lab well, having spent countless hours working there. Her footsteps echoed in the silent hallways, and she could hear the faint sounds of movement from the other rooms. As she approached the containment area, she saw the cell windows flicker from being broken and not broken, the hall flicker from being destroyed and not destroyed, she felt like she was loosing her mind. Lilith took a deep breath and pushed the door open. The sight that greeted her was both horrifying and motivating. The creatures inside were beginning to stir, their eyes glowing with a menacing light. There was no time to waste. She had to act before they could fully awaken. With a steady hand, Lilith moved through the room, igniting the flammable materials she had strategically placed around the lab for such an emergency. The flames quickly spread, consuming everything in their path. The heat intensified, and the smoke began to fill the air, but Lilith didn't stop. She had to ensure that every last experiment was destroyed. As the fire raged, she backed away, her eyes never leaving the growing inferno. The creatures inside let out haunting cries, their forms writhing in the flames. It was a sight that would haunt her forever, but she knew it was necessary. The risk was too great; the experiment couldn't be allowed to unleash its power. Sweat dripped down her face as she reached the exit, the fire now a roaring blaze behind her. She glanced back one last time, ensuring that the containment area was completely engulfed. Satisfied that the threat was being eradicated, she closed the door and sealed it shut, cutting off the oxygen supply to the room to prevent the fire from spreading further.

Exhausted and shaken, Lilith leaned against the wall, her breath coming in ragged gasps. The lab was now a smoldering ruin. As the adrenaline began to fade, she felt the weight of what she had done settle on her shoulders. questions that had filled her mind earlier returned, now accompanied by a sense of loss and uncertainty. What kind of ability had she encountered? What had gone wrong with the experiment? And most importantly, what would she do next? Lilith knew she couldn't stay in the lab any longer. She had to disappear, to figure out her next move and to understand the true nature of the abilities she had witnessed. Lilith turned back to the facility that had consumed her life for so many years. She watched as the flames consume the containment rooms. the memories of sleepless nights, relentless experiments, and the haunting presence of the creatures she had worked on flooding her mind. she began walking through the burning Laboratory untouched by the flames, she moved from room to room, The smell of gasoline filled the air, but something wasn't right, all of the items that was burned returned to its natural state right in front of her eyes , almost like its rewinding time The inferno surged, painting the lab in a chaotic tapestry of orange and red. But to her shock, nothing burned. The wooden floors remained unscathed, the piles of paper untouched by the flames. The fire roared around her, a deafening symphony of crackling and hissing, yet it was as if an invisible barrier protected everything from its destructive force. "What-" Lilith's voice trailed off, her confusion clear. She stepped back, the match still clutched in her hand, its tiny flame flickering weakly in the face of the larger, impotent blaze. She walked through the fire, her mind racing to comprehend the surreal scene. The flames licked at her clothes, her skin, but she felt no heat, no pain. It was as if the fire existed in a different realm, a ghostly apparition with no power to harm. Lilith glanced around, searching for some clue, some explanation. Her eyes fell on the lab's various instruments and apparatus, all untouched by the fire. The tanks of liquid, the tables of notes, everything stood as it had before. The fire continued its futile dance, illuminating the lab with a haunting glow. Her heart pounded in her chest as she backed away, the reality of what had transpired sinking in. This lab, this facility, was beyond ordinary. It defied the natural laws, existing in a realm of its own making. She stepped outside, the cool air hitting her face, a stark contrast to the eerie warmth inside. With the lab behind her, Lilith couldn't help but glance back at the lab, her heart heavy with a mix of relief and fear. The place that had consumed so much of her life now stood as a testament to the unknown, a reminder of the boundaries she had crossed in her quest for knowledge. But as she turned to leave, she felt an inexplicable pull. Her legs refused to move, as if anchored to the ground. Panic surged through her veins as she tried to take another step, but her body remained rooted in place. The lab loomed behind her, an inescapable prison.

"No," she whispered, her voice trembling. She tried to call out for help, but the words died in her throat. She felt the invisible chains tightening around her, dragging her back towards the lab. Her breaths came in shallow gasps as she fought against the unseen force. Lilith's mind raced. She couldn't understand what was happening. The lab had ensnared her, its malevolent presence refusing to let her go. She turned her head, her eyes wide with terror, and saw the flames inside the lab still burning brightly, mocking her futile attempt to escape. "Let me go!" she screamed, her voice echoing through the empty halls. But there was no response, only the oppressive silence and the crackling of the phantom flames. She felt herself being pulled backward, her feet sliding across the cold floor as she struggled in vain. The lab's hold on her was unyielding, a cruel reminder of the power it held. She was trapped, a prisoner within the very walls she had tried to destroy. The weight of her actions pressed down on her, suffocating her under its relentless grip. As the darkness closed in around her, Lilith knew there was no escape. The lab had become her prison, a place where the boundaries of reality and nightmare blurred. She was bound to it, forever entangled in the horrors she had created. And as the flames continued their ghostly dance, Lilith's desperate cries echoed through the halls, unanswered and unheard. Then all of a sudden she felt her self “wake up” back to the sight of her original lab no flames, no flickering lights. she looked around seeing Tsukina was gone with a note on the table stating “sent home” and had Lilith's signature that she did not write, to be released. Lilith then realized it was all an illusion.. all of it. she ran to the containment zone but her experiment was still missing but the rest remained, she put her hands in her hair griping them overwhelmed of everything and doesn't even know if what shes saying real or an illusion. she looked closely at the missing experiment room noticing a small kid hand print appearing on the wall that suddenly got covered with what looks like to be black ink. she didn't know what this could've meant and when she did it was far too late.
